Get ready for a road trip across California with the Battle of the Bands Tour, a platform born to amplify local scenes across the state.
Annually, Shabang Music Productions opens its Artist Performance Application for the Shabang Live Music & Arts Festival, lighting up San Luis Obispo, CA on May 3rd & 4th, 2024. After sifting through hundreds of impressive submissions, the desire to spotlight more California-based talent led us to team up with Free The Youth and Marquis, birthing the Battle of the Bands Tour!
Five standout bands, carefully chosen from San Luis Obispo, San Diego, Santa Barbara, and Santa Cruz, will ignite the stage, competing for a chance to claim $1,000 and a coveted performance slot at Shabang 2024. The ultimate decision rests in the hands of both the crowd’s fervor and a panel of judges!
